From 2024, Laura Raber, Sarah Manz and Kaspar Denker will take over the management responsibilities previously held by Tatjana Kaube, the former authorised signatory.
After three years as an authorised signatory and member of the management team, Tatjana Kaube left Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH at the end of 2023 to pursue new opportunities and take up her new role as Commercial Director at Initiative Musik.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tatjana Kaube for her indispensable commitment to building up KRB, from a small team of six people to a diverse and dynamic organisation with 20 staff members by the end of 2023. In her role, Tatjana guided KRB through the numerous challenges and successes of the early years, always keeping our goal in sight: securing spatial infrastructure for artistic work in Berlin.
From January 2024, Laura Raber, Sarah Manz and Kaspar Denker will initially take on the management responsibilities of Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH as a team alongside Managing Director Jasper Bieger.
Laura Raber, Officer for Culture and Site Development, has been with KRB since September 2020. A graduate in cultural studies, she has, among other things, helped shape the alliance’s structure, launched the Kultur Räume Kontingente programme and taken charge of the conceptualisation of the “Alte Münze” development project for KRB.
Sarah Manz, Officer for Site Development and Construction, has been working for KRB since October 2020. As an architect and expert in urban design, she develops various sites and has, among other things, provided conceptual support for the TXL project.
Kaspar Denker, Officer for the Development of Artistic Production Sites, joined KRB in April 2023 and established the first Kultur Räume Studios. With his many years of experience as an artistic production manager and his business management expertise, he is part of the new management team.
