Team day in Leipzig: exchange, insights and fresh perspectives

For this year’s team day, we travelled to Leipzig. The programme included a visit to the Gewandhaus, a guided tour of the Spinnerei, a shared lunch with professional exchange, a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig, and conversations with Leipzig’s cultural office and other local stakeholders.

The day gave us the chance to encounter cultural spaces that represent production, visibility and exchange in very different ways. What felt especially valuable was gaining insight into established structures and discussing how cultural sites develop, sustain themselves and remain viable over time.

Beyond the professional input, the team day was also a welcome opportunity to spend time together outside day to day routines. Visits like these create space for new ideas, shared impressions and conversations that often do not fit into an ordinary working day.

We returned to Berlin with plenty of inspiration, thoughtful encounters and fresh perspectives, and we are grateful for such a rich and rewarding day in Leipzig.
