From summer 2025, the former Tegel Airport will once again become a hub for club culture and urban practice: a collective of operators is being sought for the so-called TXL Modellfläche to design the outdoor area and run it until 2028 – with an option to extend.
On offer are a lease agreement, 100,000 € in project funding for 2025, and consultation from the Clubcommission and the Berlin Project Fund for Urban Practice. The aim is to create an economically viable cultural venue with a diverse, inclusive programme.
The application period runs from 17.04. of 17.05.2025.

Call for Applications: TXL Modellfläche 2025
The development of the TXL Modellfläche is a collaborative project between Clubcommission Berlin e.V., Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH and the office of the Berlin Project Fund for Urban Practice at the Stiftung für Kulturelle Weiterbildung und Kulturberatung. The project is subsidised by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
