From take-off to dance strip: Khisdapaze takes over the Modellfläche TXL

On Friday, 26 September 2025, the Modellfläche TXL officially launched under the new operating collective Khisdapaze e.V., starting with a press conference. The artistic kick-off followed as early as Saturday, the 27.09.2025: a sold-out rave marked the start of the programme on the former airport site.

The opening marks the start of the next phase of temporary cultural use at the TXL site. Over the coming weeks, Khisdapaze e.V. will trial initial formats and engage in dialogue with artists and local residents. The aim is to gradually develop the site into a venue for production, presentation and community engagement.
The TXL Modellfläche is a joint project of the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion, Kulturraum Berlin gGmbH, the Berlin Projektfonds Urbane Praxis and the Clubcommission.
