As Communications and Engagement Officer, Daniel is responsible for the content and editorial development of the Berlin Kulturkataster, as well as for engaging relevant stakeholders and the public.
Daniel’s career path has led him to us via various stops along the way. A communications scholar specialising in political communication, he has supported various cultural organisations, including the Hamburger Kunsthalle, in the development and implementation of their digital communication strategies, and has taught on the Communication Design course at HTW Berlin. Before joining us, Daniel was responsible for communications at the Clubcommission – the network for Berlin’s club culture.
“Berlin’s urban development offers many opportunities to actively help shape this city. For me, one of the central tasks of communication is to motivate people to participate in society. To ensure that Berlin remains as open and accessible as possible for everyone who lives here, we need people who seize these opportunities for participation, look closely, voice criticism and get involved.”
